Dentistry Scotland Awards goes virtual for 2020
The Dentistry Scotland Awards is going online for the first time ever this year.
Due to COVID-19, FMC has been forced to find an alternative way of rewarding leading dental practices across Scotland. This year FMC is bringing the glitz and glamour of the ceremony to a screen near you.
It hopes this will make the ceremony completely accessible to all practices across Scotland. And it ensures attendees to the ceremony in November are completely safe from contracting COVID-19.
The ceremony, held on the 29 October, is completely free to attend. FMC will share the link to sign up and attend closer to the time.
‘This was a tough decision to take because we love rewarding the dental profession face to face at these events,’ Seb Evans, Dentistry Scotland Online editor, said.
‘We often hear stories about how proactive dental practices are, and we’ve taken inspiration from this. This is the first year we’ve moved the awards ceremony online and we’re hoping to therefore receive a record number of entries and attendees.’
